Prestigious ‘Enterprising Women of the Year Champions’ Awards Program Recognizes Rosanne S. DeTorres, Esq.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Rosanne S. DeTorres, Esq., managing partner and co-founder of DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law, has been named an Enterprising Women of the Year Champion for 2018 by Enterprising Women magazine. The awards program, widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners, serves as an annual tribute to the world’s top women entrepreneurs.

“With hundreds of women entrepreneurs nominated from across the United States and around the globe, we added a new award category in 2016 to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of a larger group of women worldwide,” said Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women. “These ‘Champions’ excel in a variety of ways – through fast business growth, community leadership or as outstanding role models and mentors in their communities.”

As an Enterprising Women of the Year Champion, DeTorres continues to demonstrate a commitment to sustaining a successful business while also serving as a mentor for women and girls – especially those with an interest in entrepreneurship – in and around Morris County.

“This is an amazing honor, and I’m humbled to be mentioned in the same company as the other 31 women receiving this award,” DeTorres says. “I’m immensely proud of the work we do both internally and in the community at D&D Family Law, so to be recognized for that work on such a grand scale is incredible.”

This is not the first award for DeTorres, who has also been recognized as a top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneur and was named to the NJ Super Lawyers list in 2017. The firm has also been noted as one of the top 500 fastest growing law firms in the U.S. by Law Firm 500. Additionally, DeTorres is one of only 150 attorneys in the State of New Jersey that is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.

DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law prides itself on settling 99 percent of all divorce cases without going to court. The firm provides expert guidance on all family law and divorce related matters, such as child custody, legal separation, divorce mediation, alimony and equitable distribution of assets.
